If medical reports, discharge summaries and test results are available, they can be reviewed in advance to determine the appropriate direction. We then organize contact with specialists at JSC "Medicina" — a consultation, a second medical opinion, additional diagnostics, or consideration of treatment options.

Our role is not to replace the physician or determine medical tactics, but to organize the patient's referral and ensure a smooth sequence of the necessary organizational steps.

Medical care is organized at JSC "Medicina", a multidisciplinary medical center in Moscow that brings together modern diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical capabilities.

Second Medical Opinion

Oncology

Diagnostics

Depending on the condition, the workup may include CT, MRI, PET/CT, endoscopic examinations, biopsy, morphological and immunohistochemical tissue analysis. For certain conditions, molecular genetic testing is used.

Oncological Surgery

Surgical treatment is one of the primary methods for many solid tumors. Depending on the clinical situation, organ-sparing, minimally invasive and reconstructive surgical techniques may be used.

Drug-Based Treatment

Nuclear Medicine

PET/CT

Radionuclide Diagnostics

Specialized radiopharmaceuticals are used to study the function of various organs and tissues. The choice of examination is determined by the specific clinical question and medical indications.

Theranostics

The theranostic approach combines molecular diagnostics with targeted therapy. A specific biological target is first identified using a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical. When indicated, the same target can then be used to deliver radionuclide therapy.

Institute of Nuclear Medicine

The specialized infrastructure of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine at JSC "Medicina" allows the diagnostic and therapeutic stages to be combined within a single medical pathway for the patient.

Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery

Modern radiotherapy is based on a combination of medical imaging, computerized treatment planning, and technologies for the precise delivery of ionizing radiation to the treatment target.

The treatment plan is developed based on the location and size of the lesion, its biological characteristics, and the position of surrounding organs. In certain clinical situations, stereotactic techniques are used to deliver highly precise radiation, including CyberKnife radiosurgery.

Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine

Modern cardiology uses a range of diagnostic methods to assess heart structure, function, blood supply, heart rhythm and the condition of the vascular system.

Depending on the clinical question, the workup may include electrocardiography, extended monitoring, echocardiography, stress testing, cardiac CT and MRI, coronary vessel imaging and other specialized methods.
